British actress, screenwriter, author, and the highly publicized Emma Thompson is also a mother of two children: Gaia and Tindyebwa, born from her previous marriage with Kenneth Branagh and her current husband Greg Wise.

Thompson and Wise adopted Tindyebwa from Rwanda who was 16 years old in 2003. Eventually, Thompson’s taken to adoption and Tindi’s zest for life makes for an interesting family configuration. She expressed the need to build a strong bond with him so that he always felt secure and loved in their home.
